Scientists have created a small robotic submarine to learn more about predators underwater. One scientist ask "how do you study an animal that lives in the entire pacific ocean?" One technique for this is to mark sharks with acoustic tags under the shark skin in which every second it transmits a "ping" of sound through the water. Scientist are going to use acoustic receivers to listen to the pings to know if the shark is near. The problem was that the receivers had a limited range and the shark was lost. They create self guide submarines to follow the shark were it goes.
In my opinion this evidence makes this article credible because it explains in much detail how the submarine works and how each device works. There is very little information known about sharks and it is possible that they may be ding other things than just being swimming around the ocean and eating. The technology that we have today it is very easy to built the self guided submarine
